Cathy Jostad was a kind woman from Kindred North Dakota that I got to meet while acting as official photographer at the Minnesota Pinto Horse Association shows in 2015. I knew from talking with her that she loved her family, friends and horses. This past September, Cathy lost her life on a foggy county road while protecting children, teachers and parents in her care. Cathy Jostad

Each holiday season we ask our listeners of MIX 101.9 to inform us of individuals and families who find themselves in need during the most important time of year, Christmas. Based on the philosophy of biggest need comes first, we do our best to grant as many Christmas Gifts as possible. Most of the Christmas Gifts are recorded and played back each weekday morning around 7:00am & 5:00pm in December until Christmas on MIX 101.9.
